Join 'Avenue of Flags' Lockport

A great program is a great way to show your patriotism while supporting non-profit organizations in your community!

For a $50 annual donation, we will place a 3’x5’ American flag on a 10’ pole on the front of your home on these five national holidays:

Memorial Day
Flag Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veteran’s Day

The flags are installed at dawn and removed at dusk. Our volunteers will replace, repair, and store the flags and poles. Your generous donation will be used to support various youth groups and other non-profit organizations, in addition to funding various community service projects in your area.

As a club President, my personal challenge this year has been to maintain the balance between the commitments of service that our Lockport Club has to excel in and our responsibilities to the members and the community that we serve to find a way to do it. We as Lions live to serve because we know #kindnessmatters and it starts with people who care, and that's the wonderful heroes that make up the Lockport, NY Lions Club

Since 1939 we've been serving our community. With that, I follow in the wonderful footsteps formed over the last 81 years of committed servants of our club and Lockport. It's a daunting task as we have a storied tradition, and with the help of our members, we'll continue to make a difference.

I personally invite you to join the Lockport Lions and also become a hero like the rest of our members. I promise it will be one of the most satisfying things you do. And along the way, you'll make new friends with like-minded people who understand that kindness matters.

Now and in the future, we'll be putting a lot of emphasis on our club's digital marketing efforts. We join the New York State Lions Clubs, aka, MD-20 & Bermuda [yes they are part of our New York group :)] and the Lions of Webster New York, aka, 20N Lions in that effort.

We know that the Internet and the growth of mobile communication technology it is where are members are located, and more importantly where our future members are. It's where we need to be too.
